In 2016, it is estimated that the risk of an individual being diagnosed with cancer by their 85th birthday will be 1 in 2 (1 in 2 males and 1 in 3 females).
In 2016, it is estimated that the risk of an individual dying from cancer by their 85th birthday will be 1 in 5 (1 in 4 for males and 1 in 6 for females).
The number of new cases of cancer diagnosed increased from 47,445 in 1982 to 122,093 in 2012.
Over the same period, the age-standardised incidence rate increased from 383 cases per 100,000 persons in 1982 to 485 cases per 100,000 persons in 2012.

How much money will be donated.
All Commission Payments paid by Lenders are required by law to be disclosed to you (the Consumer). Customers First Mortgages & Insurance gets paid this fee less a deduction for processing fees of the Aggregator (Finsure Finance & Insurance Pty Ltd). At the time of finalising your application the gross Commission to Customers First Mortgages & Insurance will be calculated and the 15% donation amount, generated from your home loan will be clearly disclosed on your Credit Proposal Disclosure Document.

When will the donation be made ?
Lender Commissions are paid in the month following your settlement. As soon as the Commission has been received by Customers First Mortgages & Insurance, the donation amount will be forwarded to the Cancer Council NSW.
A reporting model for managing all donations has been established between Cancer Council NSW and Customers First Mortgages & Insurance.
